A PMC is an engraved paper certificate, signed by the current President to honor the memory of honorably discharged deceased veterans. John F. Kennedy (Section 112, Title 38 of U.S. Code) initiated the program in 1962.
More than one PMC may be provided. The deceased veteran's next of kin and loved ones are eligible for receipt.
Applying for a Presidential Memorial Certificate:
